In NZ it’s called the philosopher’s stone! I never knew it was called the sorcerer’s stone!… Weird…
Yeah, it’s only the sorcerer’s stone in America, but since America is an important audience for movies, when they made the movie they shot scenes where they said “philosophers stone” twice, calling it “sorcerer’s stone” in the American release. It’s interesting to me because it’s kind of stupid.
