Aphrodite would know about Chompers if she didn’t skip all of Manea’s life that wasn’t romance.
It’s too bad this storyline doesn’t end with Chompers eating Aphrodite, imaginary readers. But he did already eat Satan, so it would be bad form to write that in again.
