Real talk, imaginary readers: there are a ton of ancient flood myths. It’s one of those things that makes ancient history cool to observe, because we’re not quite sure where the connections are there, unless (and this is an actual theory) a large part of early society experienced a major flood, (I’m talking New Orleans big here) and it was survived through these stories of folk heroes.
