Green Ninja pretty much already thought Bloodwing was crazy, though.
So I thought to myself, Self, you’ve got a lot of gods in your comic, and superhero stories often involve gods in some way. You should figure out which god would give somebody blood powers. Then I remembered Aztecs were a thing that existed and the search was over.
The Aztecs have my vote for scariest gods/myths/culture, imaginary readers. I was about to go into why, but it’s just too much. There is too much. Friggin’ Aztecs, man.
