Annette was the kind of person to grab strange animals right off the street. She was here for a good time, not a long time.
As someone who is not, by almost anyone’s definition, an artist, I was pretty miffed when I realized I’d written a younger version of a character that I’d just introduced, imaginary readers. I do like how young Annette turned out, though.
