I have so many problems with this play. First off, Romeo’s clearly just a horny bastard, because Juliet was not the first girl he stalked creepily. Second, Juliet was both thirteen and one of the most intelligent people in the play (second, I think, to Mercutio). Third, Romeo was one of the densest characters I’ve ever come across. Right before he kills himself because he can’t live without the girl he’s known for a week, he talks about how alive she looks. Some people would notice the breathing. Fourth, no poison works that quickly, come on.

I think I’m gonna scrap the storyline, imaginary readers. I’m not feeling it.
