Sadness’s armageddon scenario is a bit anticlimactic.
I very much doubt Dick has ever really been a voice of reason before. Certainly not with his universe’s Sadness. She’s always been the more easy going one. He’s a man out of his depth, imaginary readers. Pun…intended? I guess?
