Though not really because of work. I think I would describe the current American political situation as “dire.”
But things have been dire before.

…I think I love your comics even more than usual right now. They provide a much-needed distraction from real life and the insanity going on.
It’s been a point of personal pride to be able to write lighthearted material when I feel like everything’s going wrong. I’m glad to be able to provide a temporary escape.
